THE NEXT PHASE OF OUR YOUTH MOVEMENT HAS STARTED
Harmony Explosion Northeast (HXNE) is igniting a new era of youth participation in New England.
To fuel this movement, we're building a dynamic network of passionate young singers and educators across the region.
Starting in 2025, we are producing a new series of electrifying one-day, free HXNE events that will encourage a higher level of participation in new regions of the Northeastern District. By leveraging our existing relationships with local, skilled Music Educators who are already subject experts, we can make this unique offering available to more students. Because these teachers work in a local school District, we will also have the opportunity to attract more local Music Educators to our program. In some cases, having our resident teacher leading the program also helps to reduce or eliminate the facility cost. Using this approach, we can create an amazing musical experience for more youths and likely at a lower cost per student.
It is also our expectation that these additional one-day events will generate interest and act as a feeder program for our world-class, multi-day HXNE Camp to be held at Worcester State University in July 2025. We will be attracting more students this year by reinstalling our peer leader program for college age students and by adding a one day event for middle-schoolers.
IT IS TRUE THAT MORE STUDENTS AND MORE EVENTS IN 2025 WILL INCREASE OUR ANNUAL NEED,
BUT THE VALUE OF YOUR GIFT WILL BE HIGHER
We do understand that this model requires a shift in perspective. Starting in 2025, our program is going to be about more than a single event. It's about cultivating a year-round commitment to youth music education across the Northeastern District. It is our hope that you, your quartet, and/or your chapter will consider increasing your HXNE gift for the new year.

If you were meaning to make a donation this year and haven’t done it yet or your chapter/quartet is still considering how much to give, we would really appreciate you sending your gift in ASAP. The 2024 event in Worcester is over, but we have a 2025 event being held in the first week of the new year and then we are on to the expanded 2025 camp at Worcester State University. The need is great and urgent! Please don’t wait.
